After Your Visit
Will I need a follow-up appointment?
The doctor will let you know at the end of your visit whether you need a follow-up, a referral to another specialist, or no further action. If a follow-up is required, we’ll help schedule it before you leave.
I was referred for surgery, what happens next?
If you have been referred for surgery, our surgical counselling team will contact you with next steps. If you haven’t heard anything within 1–2 weeks, give us a call.
My eyes are still blurry after dilation, is this normal?
Yes, dilation can cause blurred vision and light sensitivity for several hours. This is temporary. Avoid driving or operating heavy machinery until your vision returns to normal.
I had an injection today, do I need to do anything afterward?
You may have mild redness or irritation at the injection site. Avoid rubbing your eye and follow any care instructions given. Contact us if you experience pain, vision loss, or discharge.
Can I resume my normal activities after my appointment?
In most cases, yes. However, if you received treatment or injections, follow the post-care instructions provided. If you’re unsure, please contact us.
What if I have a reaction to my medication or eye drops?
Stop using the product and contact us or your pharmacy right away. For serious symptoms like swelling, difficulty breathing, or severe pain, go to the nearest emergency room.
